Ferndale Electric presents the 5th annual Clean the Ferndale Up! returns on Saturday, May 21, 2016. A fun-tastic day for families, friends and co-workers to volunteer together for sprucing the areas within the community.
This year's primary project will be the campus of the Kulick Community Center.
Projects include raking, tidying, bundling, bagging, planting and recycling.
Ferndale's Department of Public Works (DPW) will be providing necessary equipment,
mulch, plants and garbage bags while volunteers are encouraged to bring a pair of work
gloves, shovel and rake, if able.
Online Registration is now closed, but you can still join the fun! Simply sign-up between 8:00 am and 8:45 am on the day of
the event. Community groups and businesses are welcome too! Check-in and Pep Rally Kick Off will

If you can not attend Clean the Ferndale Up, we encourage you to make Saturday, May 21st your own
lawn and garden spruce up and cleaning day in celebration of your neighborhood and community!
Recycling Drop-Off Station: Also on Saturday, May 21, 2016, the City of Ferndale will once again
partner with SOCRRA (Southeastern Oakland County Resource Recovery Authority) to provide a
one-day only Recycling Drop-Off Station for electronics, paper, glass, paints and more.
The Recycling Drop-Off Station will be located in the municipal parking lot (between
City Hall and the Ferndale Area Public Library from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
